In the majority of cases, the works at these particular sites have been organised and/or completed by the local council although some sites have been undertaken by other organisations such as Greening Australia. Information about the sites is presented in an easy to read format and includes such data as who undertook the planting, what year the planting took place, the vegetation communities found at the site and any notable site features.

The information used to create this map has been provided to the Green Web Sydney project in good faith by the participating local councils and Greening Australia. Please note that the map has been created to be best viewed using a broadband (or ADSL) internet connection and some delays may be experienced if using the maps with a 56K dial-up modem. We are currently working on this issue and hope to be able to provide a better service for dial-up users in the near future.
